Battlefield 1's Incursions mode's multiplayer servers are going offline today as EA works on "new developments".

The 5v5 competitive mode is very much geared around re-framing the gameplay in terms of eSports - something we found out at Gamescom 2017, when IGN's UK news editor Joe tooka sound thrashing. It recently moved from the closed alpha to the Community Environment on PC, and now that EA and DICE have gathered feedback and suggestions from players, the multiplayer servers will be temporarily unavailable as they develop and implement changes.

"Your feedback over the past few months and learnings from the gameplay sessions have given our teams a lot to work with as we continue to create competitive Battlefield. We thank you for your dedication and passion!" read the update.

"Its now time for the next natural phase in development. As we transition, the Battlefield 1 Incursions multiplayer servers will be temporarily unavailable. Dont worry! Well have developmental updates and newsworthy information to share with you soon."

Starting today, at4PM UTC/9AM PDT, the multplayer servers will go offline. Players will still be able to launch the Incursions Community Environment to poke about in the Test Range and peruse their kits. And they are encouraged to continue to provide feedback on Reddit and the forums.
