BAFTA Awards Crown Unexpected Best Game

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Game Awards were held in London last night, and in a surprise twist, Giant Sparrow's What Remains of Edith Finch was crowned Best Game.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice was also a big winner, scoring five awards including Best British Game for Cambridge-based studio Ninja Theory. Last year's fan favorite Zelda: Breath of the Wild scored one award for Game Innovation, while Super Mario Odyssey picked up two, for Best Family Game and Game Design.

Horizon Zero Dawn picked up best Original Property, and Cuphead won for Best Music. The full list of winners is below.

Evolving Game: Overwatch

Narrative: Night In The Woods
